That depends on which direction the liquid most recently went. If it was being filled, half-full. If it was being drunken from, half empty.

Depends did you just pour in the milk? Then its half full. Did you drink some of the milk? Then it's half empty.

If it is an alcoholic filling the glass is half empty, if it is a soft drink it is half full! CHEERS
