He couldn't have been God or chosen by God because he wasn't even supposed to be the one who came. Why not listen to the other posters?

though i am an atheist, i feel your question is in bad taste as it hurts the sentiments of millions of Christians who revere him as the son of GOD. even if you don't believe him as such, one has to believe that he died for a noble cause and most of his preaching like peaceful coexistence love they neighbor, love your enemy show the other cheek and stone the sinner unless you have not committed sin were some of his noble preachings to be admired and practiced even by non believers.

It is OK, read the book of Daniel about the 72 weeks and you'll see that he is the one. He is from the lineage of King David, from both side, meaning from his mother Miriam and if Joseph was his carnal father. One parent comes from Solomon and the other from Nathaniel, both sons of David. Jesus was supposed to be king of the Jews.

He was living according to the Old Testament laws, to prove that he was a true Jew. In the Old Testament, Book of Genesis, it refers to God as in "Let us make man in our image" implying a three in one mystical God. He came, was resurrected, and will come again to judge both the living and the dead, per the New Testament.

Jibba Jabba....i would be careful what you say....God is listening even though you may not think so.

To answer the question....brainless...I think not....I think, therefore God is.

Jewish traditions had gotten so far from the will of God...that is why it "looks" like Jesus was not practicing Jewish rules...Read the Bible and see what Jesus did and didnt do....for God's sake, you might even learn something....talk about being brainless.

If you were "saved", then you would know that JESUS was living as a Jew. How else would HE live?

Dont hate Christians, or JESUS CHRIST, because HE is the only way to Heaven. I feel sorry for people who cant see the Truth, and deny it. But, its your choice, and if you dont accept it, please dont bash those of us who do.

Its the nice thing about the LORD, HE gave us choice!

I wish you well..

actually Jesus fullfilled all the requirements of the expected messiah. Many jews and jewish leaders believed in him, but many others were afraid to do so because of fear of being thrown out of power (pharisees, saducess, sanhedrin) and of society (outcasts, stoned to death, etc)
