It was the custom to offer watered down wine to 'refresh' oneself to their guests! It was to' cut the road dust' from their pipes; especially the orators and songbirds of the day. The first sip was to wash the palate, the second could have been gargled or swallowed,at their option. Faith has nothing to do with it. Logic did!

probably... since he was fully human. o, by the way, He was fully God too, but that maybe too hard for you to wrap your mind around.

My faith has been rocked by other situations, but by the grace of God He has given me the strength and the peace that passes all understanding to help me persevere. Praise be to God!

He had 2 once with water and something else in a while because of the ickiness feeling of the mouth. it doesn't question anything.
