Going to a salon won't cure your hair loss, you'de be better coming to terms with the fact that you're going bald, I'm guessing you are a guy. Don't comb over.

Treatment for Hair Growth

Hair loss has been a sensitive problem for men, since times immemorial. The two main causes of hair loss in men are genetics and hormonal imbalances. 95% of men suffer from androgenetic alopecia or male pattern hair loss. But now the scientists have found out that the major cause of hair loss is DHT (dihydrotestostrone)....

The salon is not a clinic. They can't help. See your doctor and get a referral to the National Skin Centre. They prescribe drugs that really help. Just that it's expensive and there are side effects.

Man or woman? That might make a difference.

For women - not sure about men - I could recommend the Nioxin products. They are pricy, but they really do work. I can say this both from personal experience, and from seeing a segment on the news a few years ago.

There make tons of products; check out their website to see what meets your needs.

Propecia (prescription med) and Rogaine (Minoxidol) have both worked for me. They grow hair on the crown of the head, not at the hairline. Then there's surgery. Haven't tried that, but I've seen some good, and bad, results.

if you are not totally bald, you may need to treat it constantly you can use aphogee hair products when I lost my hair that's what I used. you may also trim the ends cut off the dead ends or splitends. also braid it so it would grow buy a wig and wear. but mostly you need to treat it.
