look wise - well groomed. polished shoes, nice smell, clean shaven (though this can be optional. some women really dig the unshaven look.) get some clothes that suit you. perhaps even find a female friend to bring you shopping.
speech wise - tone down the swearing a lot if you use it day to day. try and speak clearly if you think you don't usually.
after all that it's down to your personality.
try and relax and be confident on the date, but NOT pushy. women will react better if you act more naturally around them. don't worry about being rejected or try too hard to make a great impression, just go with the flow and try put forward some of your more pleasant traits.

Lookwise:
Be cleancut, have a reasonably trendy hairdo, don't wear outlandish clothes, don't wear weird coloured clothing like pink or purple, don't wear the wrong attire for the wrong occasions, get a nice suntan, don't slouch...have a good posture, don't be a slob and always wear a friendly smile...not the lecherous looking smile!
Speech:
Don't try to use bombastic words...mega turnoff for girls, don't swear too much, speak with sincerity, pay women compliments but don't overcompliment, listen and don't interrupt when women are talking, don't talk too fast, don't slur, don't be overly animated...girls find that a huge turnoff.

Look wise: just look your best. After all, you can't get any better than that, right? Be sure to look like you put some thought into your appearance - be clean.
Speech wise: just listen to what she has to say. Be interested in her thoughts and feelings. And don't just repeat whatever she says - have something to add to it, be it opinion or fact.
And most of all: be yourself!

don't use pick up lines and act like a sleaze. also don't brag too much, but be confident.
don't be afraid to show your affectionate side, but don't be a pus*y.
stop trying to meet decent women in a bar.
looks wise? what do u look like? if you're average lookin' u should do just fine. have some more confidence.

First of all be yourself, you do not have to change to make others happy. Then think about the qualities you have. Everybody is good at something. Not that you will be talking about your abilities all the time. But it is sure a subject to start a conversation. Best of luck to you!

Clean cut or business type of looks always gets the nice ones and try to speak proper english..not this ghetto english that most kids are blubering...waz zup yo...cuz...that's phat yo....
