Depending upon the language(s) you speak. the average hourly wage is $38.00-$200.00. Just make certain as to the wages, before you finish school and looking for a job.

First what language do you speak...
ceartain languages are coveted more than others....
spanish can be used but there are so many fluent spanish/english speakers out there...
japanese is good for the automotive industry...thats my job...
arabic is awsome for the military
it really just depends on your language...
but depending on expirience...an interpreter can make anywhere from 10-15 $ an hour to 100-200 dollars an hour....

i fly for petro company in china we have english speaking interpeters i understand they are paid about $ 35.000.00 UDS per yr maybe work 3 hrs a day if that much
