Yes, I find it so.
I went to a luncheon of the Detroit Economic Club, and everyone had to stand up and pray together (Christians). I am an atheist, so I felt quite a bit offended. I had to do what they wanted in order to fit in.
I have religious friends that constantly try to convert me to their religion, whether it be christian or Muslim, and every time they try, I combat with logic. I'm sick and tired of people telling me that there is a god and that I should pick their religion, or pick a religion when I don't want to.
I don't go around telling people that what they believe is wrong, or that there is no god, so they need to stop doing that to me!!!

Are you sure it is the most tollerant? Are you sure you don't have prejudices about religious people?
Do you still think that most muslims are fundamentalists, or that the Koran contains rules about how women are less important than men?
Do you still think that the Roman Catholic church and science don't match?
Well, let me tell you that the Koran says that men and women are equal, and it is only the Sharia, the law that is used in some muslim countries that allows such injustice.
And the Roman Catholic church supports the theory of evolution, and that of the Big Bang. The Vatican even disapproves the intelligent design.

I dunno....I WISH I could be more tolerant as an Atheist; but I get fed up with the expectation that I'm supposed to dignify the theists' ridiculous and groundless fairy-tales by keeping silent and letting them have their little imaginary friends....

God calls us to be tollerant of others, but we are not to tolerate sin within outselves.
So many mixed up people! It is really quite simple.
Peace!

Yes, no religion is the new religion, and it is the non-opiate of the masses.

The new religion is that God is a marriage of love and wisdom. That is where male and female came from and the left and right side of the brain (the cup and platter thing).

I dig it.
I pity the fools who run around angry at people they've never even met.
