Islamaniacs trumpet that Islam is the fastest growing religion and must therefore be right, but surely it has all the hallmarks of a cult that offers certainty not understanding. Fascism and communism were ideologies that encompassed a billion people but today are discounted as having any worth. The majority are often wrong and that is why inspired leaders exist that have a better dream, and also the Bible tells that the road to destruction is broad and wide (Matthew 7:13). "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it."
The Muslim apologists claim that Islam is a religion of peace and that the terrorists aren' t real Muslims. This reminds me of when the Soviet Union had its communist grip on Eastern Europe. When one pointed out that it was a crap system with food shortages, queues for everything and nothing working properly, the red propagandists would claim that the real communists weren't in charge. Today we have a similar situation with Islamic propagandists saying the terrorists aren't representative, despite all the bombers and hijackers claiming action for allah. Unfortunately, the whole tenor of the Koran is one that dwells on slaughter and the doom of unbelievers. The Hadiths are even worse and talk of violence against Jews especially. One says that even the trees and bushes will shout out that there are Jews hiding behind them, and they should then be killed.
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.' "
Book 041, Number 6984:
Abdullah b.
'Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Jews will fight against you and you will gain victory over them until the stone would say: Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; kill him.
Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
The koranicists tell me that I am taking passages about annihilating towns after warning them, out of context. The threats and promised destruction of surah 17:16 towards a town is supposedly a general warning from allah. But if I don't see it that way, then why should an uneducated Muslim? He could well think the verses saying we will destroy them and slaughter them where we find them are general exhortations for the cause. Certainly the well educated terrorists seem to interpret it that way.

Bad publicity is better than no publicity?
Some join Cults, some become Satanists, some even much worse things during rebellion.
If Islam is so great, why do 75% leave within 5 years?
Are you saying that 9-11 was a good think? That is SICK.
Peace!

Do you have any HARD STATISTICAL EVIDENCE to prove that Islam is the fastest growing religion even after 9\11 ? Mere anecdotal stuff, hype, bullbleep, and sensationalized media reports can't work

No, it isn't, Atheism is the fastest growing Religion.
Most of those converts only do it to avoid persecution from other Muslims.
Most of them are Atheists , or don't care.

Well, it could be the bribes [in big $] that Saddam (and other Islamic leaders) pay the families who are left behind by the
bombers, or it could be the fact that Islamic nations are teeming with millions of poor, ignorant, desperate people, or it could be....
Exodus 20 :1-3 (KJV)
And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Why do people always say this? It is so untrue. The fastest growing religion is the Mormon religion.

They reproduce alot? Or perhaps there are simply alot of enraged morons out there looking for ways to show their contempt for American foreign policy. Religions play on lost souls full of hate and lacking direction (sounds alot like a Bush reelection campaign huh?).
