Ok, pimples or comedones come in tow types: blackheads, which are open and white heads which are closed. Pores are all over you skin and body and do not go away; however when a pore becomes clogged with debris, a comedone can form.
To clear blackheads, after a shower when the skin is warmed and the pores are "open" extract the debris from the pore by using two index fingers one on each side of the pore, and gently rock the debris upward.
To clear whiteheads, using a sterile lancet at a 45degree angle, create a small hole in the Whitehead and then using two index fingers, gently rock the debris upward to get the whitehead out. There may be pus, blood and then plasma, so be sure to wear gloves or a finger cot.
When you have finished, apply a toner such as astringent over the entire area to clean the pores.
Also pore size does not change but the appearance of enlarged pores can be reduced once the debris has been removed. Cleansers with salicylic acid, such as neutrogena acne wash help to clear the skin, so be sure to try one.
Good luck, hope this helps.
~ ALSO: DO NOT USE A FACIAL SCRUB AS IT WILL SPREAD THE BACTERIA AROUND YOUR FACE AND CAUSE MORE BREAK-OUT ACTIVITY!!!

Daily face cleansing routine. If you have blackheads and open pores, you probably have an oily skin type so use products suitable for oily skin. use a cleanser, toner and moisturizer twice daily, and use an exfoliant and a deep cleansing mask once or twice a week. Use a clear exfoliant with no granules, so that you won't spread bacteria around your face. always read the instructions on how to use a product and if you also have sensitive skin, try using a hypo-allergenic range or perfume free products.
Basically a daily skin care routine will help with blackheads and other skin impurities.
hope that helped. :)

Use an exfoliating cleanser (just look on the label for the word exfoliating) every day - in the morning and at night before you go to bed. Keep your hair off your face and quit touching them!
If you exercise or have a job where you sweat a lot, then use the cleanser when you're done, too.
You can also see a doctor who can prescribe medication to deal with the acne if it's really bad.

Do NOT use soap on your face. A facial cleanser that contains 2% salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide works best for clearing up skin. Do not scrub your skin more than once or twice a week, that will only irritate it and cause it to break out more. Use a gentle circular motion and let the cleanser sit on your face for 30 seconds. Rinse with cool water.

Keep your hands away from your face. No popping or picking. Use soap and water twice a day.
