Not that I know of ............. there is no cure for HIV. Just to clarify something.. just because you are HIV positive doesn't mean you will ever get full blown AIDS. There are some people that are HIV positive for years & years and never develop AIDS. There is a chance you will .. but a good chance you won't too. There is no cure, but there are treatments out there now that they didn't have 5 or 10 years ago. That is why it's important to protect yourself as much as you can from catching HIV -- blood transfusions are an EXTREMELY SMALL percentage of how people catch HIV. ** Some more food for thought, it does pay to get tested 2-3 x because like with all tests you can get false positives and negatives due to inexperienced personnel at Labs. Let me state that HIV isn't the certain death sentence that it used to be.

There is no cure for HIV or AIDS, but some medicines have been known to suppress the virus to the point that when an HIV positive person tests for this virus it does no show up and the result is negative, so yes you can test negative even if you have the virus.

No. Once a person is positive, they are positive for life. With the correct treatment a person with HIV can live awhile. The point for an HIV patient for survial is to not become positive for full blown AIDS. And with AIDS a simple cold can be devestating. With AIDS, unfortunatly is so heartbreaking. I hope that we are closer to finding a cure.

There are no cures for HIV or AIDS, however, if one continues the medication regimen the levels of HIV will return to undetectable in the blood, although the infection is still present and does not clear itself or go away.

There are some people whose viral load (the numbers of HIV present in a blood sample) lowers after about 10-15 years of exposure. But once you are infected, then you will always be HIV+.

I doubt it will happen in your lifetime, your childrens and your grandchildrens but it can happen.
Go back to leporasy and now it is curable after generations, especially when they would put the people with this disease on an island and just let them die.
The best way to cure a problem like HIV is to eliminate it through safe sex practices. As those who suffer age and diet, from old age or the disease, if no new cases happen, the disease should be controlled.

Not right now. There are some positive's that don't ever experience symptoms, but they are extremely rare.

well that would incurr that we have found a cure which we have not.....of course there is the possability but it is so remote I dont think it has ever even been considered.....
