Actually it says 6 days, not 7. The Qur'an says that the earth was created in 6 "yaum," an arabic word meaning either day or long period of time. Since hebrew and arabic are both semitic languages, i suspect that the original version of the bible used a similar word, which was lost in translation. It sounds more eloquent, for instance, to say (in the english language) six days rather than 6 "long periods of time" (is there even a word for this in english? but no matter what, it was translated into a few other languages before english, so even more meaning has been lost).
I've heard some people argue that the bible gives reference to dinosaurs, but that all sounds pretty sketchy to me (you could find whatever you wanted, couldn't you?). I mean who knows, i'm certainly not claiming to know everything about the bible. But i don't think it's easy for people to just look at it and determine exactly what it means, as it is an ancient book written by ancient peoples, and modern ideas cannot always be applied to it.
No proof of any God or gods...yes and no. What is your definition of "God?" Do you know that "God" is completely different from "god." If God is a person, then yeah, he doesn't exist. But he's not a person. Is God a piece of stone or wood? No, that would be an idol, or a "god," lowercase g. But then what is God if he cannot be seen or heard in a literal sense? That is ultimately a question you have to give a great deal of thought, because only you can come up with the answer. Because of the nature of God, nobody can possibly describe to you what He is in all of His greatness. He is the incomprehensible. What is most important to know is that He is far greater than any of the names that have been given to Him by people, and you can't let that confuse you. Names for God (including the word God) are ok in order to communicate or to have something to call the undescribable, but don't get so hung up on them.

The Bible neither confirms (explicitly) nor denies that dinosaurs existed simultaneously with man. One cannot say dinosaurs are not in the Bible, so the bible is wrong. It is simply silent on the matter.
However in Job 40:15-41:10 describes two dinosaur-like creatures. One is a tall, land dwelling herbivore with a long, thick, muscular tail. The closest thing that we know that existed to this description is a dinosaur. The second is a sea dwelling creature with powerful jaws and big enough to intimidate ships. Likewise, the only thing that we know of that meets this description is a dinosaur. This doesn't however prove that dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible, it just proves that dinosaur like creatures are described in the Bible. It is a hermeneutical leap to say that these creatures were indeed what we know as dinosaurs.

First of all the hebrew word yom translated day can actually mean an indefinite period not just an 24 hour period. There is several cases where it was used for periods expanding over thousands of years.
Second Genesis 1:21 So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves can cover dinosaurs.
"If I as a geologist were called upon to explain briefly our modern ideas of the origin of the earth and the development of life on it to a simple, pastoral people, such as the tribes to whom the Book of
Genesis was addressed, I could hardly do better than follow rather closely much of the language of the first chapter of Genesis." This geologist, Wallace Pratt, also noted that the order of events--from the origin of the oceans, to the emergence of land, to the appearance of marine life, and then to birds and mammals--is essentially the sequence of the principle divisions of geologic time.

If you read the Bible, it will say that God created the world in 6 “yom”. The word “yom” in Hebrew is often translated as “day”, which we in the Western world think of as a 24 hour period. However, the word has another meaning. “yom” also translates into “a period of time of indeterminate length”. Ancient Hebrew is a vague language, very imprecise and full of double meaning. Much like English is very imprecise compared to Greek, which is what the New Testament is written in. The second definition of yom I think is more accurate since we do not know 1) how long a “day” is to God and 2) the Hebrew definition of “day” would have been from sunrise to sunset, but the sun did not exist on the first yom.
Like many other Christians, I hold to the notion that God does not tell use exactly how he made the universe, only that he did. Religion gives us the “why”, but science needs to give us the “how”.

I don't know why I am bothering to answer this, since you obvious don't want a serious answer, but here goes.
The Bible mentions in several places large animals that do not sound like any species that is now alive. People have assumed that this is "proof" the Bible is in error because it mentions mythological beasts. But the strange animals might simply be extinct reptiles, like dinosaurs.
.......................................................
...In the Bible, in Job 40:15-24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called ‘behemoth,’ is described as ‘the chief of the ways of God,’ perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!...
....Interestingly, the word ‘dragon’ is used a number of times in the Old Testament. In most instances, the word dinosaur could substitute for dragon and it would fit very nicely. Creation scientists believe that dinosaurs were called dragons before the word dinosaur was invented in the 1800s. We would not expect to find the word dinosaur in Bibles like the Authorized Version (1611), as it was translated well before the word dinosaur was ever used....

Really good question. I have always wondered why the bible is so detailed from the beginning of the earth's creation but when they discovered prehistoric man, he couldn't write only draw kiddie like pictures on cave walls. Also they appeared not to be able to talk properly so the old bedtime god story couldn't have been too exciting and detailed.
Prehistoric man also didn't look much like the 'perfect' Adam and Eve created. Could that have something to do with inbreeding cos didn't Adam and Eve have 2 sons, where did their offspring come from? I can only imagine!
Personally it's nice to think there's something else out there but realistically is a load of old rubbish and there's some ancient dead author rotting in the ground that would be raking it in now if he was still alive
Or am I just being picky?!?

There are two names used in the bible that describe dinosaurs.
One is behemoth:
Job 40:15 Behold now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you, he eats grass like an ox.
the other is Leviathan
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent...
And here is something for you to consider:
Romans 1:19-20
that which is known about God is evident within them for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
If you ever do want to know for sure if God is real remember this:
James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men generously and without reproach and it will be given to him.

There is no mention of evolutionists either but does that mean there are none? No jets or cars mentioned either so are they just a figment of your imagination? Lots of things the bible does not address but does not mean they did not exist or do not exist. No proof of any evolution but you see many that believe it. Is there any proof that your ancestors existed? I don't see any proof of it and bet you can't provide any either so does that mean they did not exist so you do not really exist? You see how ludicrous that theology is? Look around and you will see proof everywhere that God exists and if you want more, read the bible and compare it to history and see what you think then. things written thousands of years before it happened that tell what the name of the ruler would be happened just as it said. Let's see you do that or anyone you know be that accurate with any prediction. Yet the bible has many such things that prove there has to be a God that knew what was coming.

In the Bible the dinosaurs (the word did not exist until the 1800's) are called dragon, Leviathan, Behemoth, and unicorn.
Do you know about human and dinosaur footprints in the same rock. Do a web search for more info.

God created dinosaurs, just as he created man. Evidence indicates that dinosaurs were wiped out by the flood. Did Noah take dinosaurs on the ark? The Bible tells us that Noah did what he was told, so that indicates that he did indeed bring dinosaurs on the ark. Some species of dinosaurs were quite aquatic, and would not have needed to ride on the ark. As for the others, Noah probably selected young dinosaurs. He would have done this for two reasons: young dinosaurs would be smaller, and thus more suited to life on the ark, and they would also present the best choices for being able to reproduce after the flood. Why did they then die after the flood? Probably due to the scarcity of the foods that were previously staple nutrients for the dinosaurs.
One of the oldest books of the Bible – Job – mentions creatures that were most likely dinosaurs. The book of Job was probably written around 2,000 years before Jesus was born. The Bible's best description of a dinosaur-like animal is recorded in Job chapter 40. "Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God..."(Job 40:15-19) The behemoth were not afraid. They did not need to be; they were huge. Their tails were so long and strong that God compared them to cedars - one of the largest and most spectacular trees of the ancient world. Some Bible scholars think this passage refers to elephants or hippopotami. This is incongruent with the description though, as elephants and hippopotami have tails like ropes or cords, not like “cedars” as described in Job. The next chapter of Job talks about another huge, fierce animal – a sea monster named Leviathan. It was not a whale or crocodile, because the Hebrew language had other words to describe such animals. Leviathan may be a plesiosaur – a large, seagoing reptile that evolutionists say became extinct 60 million years before man evolved.
