This guy "burned me" once. He's an ex bf who broke up with me suddenly after a year and started seeing this other woman. Now him and this other woman apparently didn't work out cause he's back to emailing me again. He wants to see me this weekend. Should I?

Tell him you will, but don't show up. Go out with your girlfriends and have a good laugh at his expense instead!
And hey, when you pick a best answer would you let the rest of us know what you decided to do?

Honestly, I wouldn't take him back. He was the one who left you for another woman in the first place, and now he's coming back to you just because they didn't work out. Think about it, are you willing to be his "back-up" or somebody else's "understudy"? Sure, he goes back to you now, but what happens if he finds another woman that he likes? He'll do the same thing all over again. Also, if you don't stand your ground he'll think you're easy and will take FULL advantage of you. You deserve a better man, and you definitely deserve to give yourself respect. You don't need that kind of man, hun. Good luck to you!

NO WAY Have some pride . He is a dog , just horny , and certainly doesn't deserve you which I'm sure he figures is a sure thing cause you are being a fool to give him the time of day!I promise you will regret it . If , which I doubt , he is the ''one '' he's gonna need to try harder than email to get a relationship back with you.

But ofcourse you should! And make sure you are looking like a total dime piece...have the fool drooling if you can. Be nice...I mean ooze pleasantries...laugh at all his jokes...when you talk to him keep his gaze...and at the end of the night politely say good nite kiss him on the cheek and tell him to lose your email address you think it best that you move on, let him know that you only agreed to see him for closure. That'll learn him, and you still maintain your self respect and dignity!

i think not ,,you cant be available for him when he decides he needs you in his life now after hes hurt you once ..keep your self distanced from that, unless you really want to have history repeat itself ,,just simply tell him that he had his chance to be with you and he blew it ,,time helps to forgive but not to forget !,,even if you decide to go back remember that will always get in the way of you being truly happy ..always wondering if he will just leave you again ,,don't fix for him what he broke!

i think as a fren(if u still consider him to be... and u are free and bored) I think u can just meet and just waht he wants... if he wants a reconciliation..if in your heart u do not want it and u prefer to be fren, then u can tell him that u prefer frenship than love btw u and him... but if u feel that he is sincere and he learn a mistake and u are willing to try w him again... then u can tell him that u are giving him probation... set all the rules and terms in your condition and if he pass the probation.. then u can relook at his love and sincerity and decide later... just go and see what happen if u are free and bored.. i think the worse it can become is to be frens...

No! Let him suffer the consequences of his bad decision! I don't think any woman should agree 2 be treated like a side dish when she could be treated like the main course!

Block the emails, buy a Rottweiler, and REFUSE to be somebodies door matt no matter how lonely you are right this moment. You do not owe him nothing, noda, zip; kick him to the curb and keep on living YOUR life!

I dont think you should right away. Make him work for it and prove to you that crap wont happen again. Find out why it didnt work between him and her, if there brake up had nothing to do with how he feels about you, screw him!!
