Hard is relative. What is hard for me might be a breeze for you. My son just got his GED and he did unbelievably well! I suggest you find a community college near you. They likely will have a GED prep course which will make sure you get through the basics.

There are lots of books available to prepare you for the GED. Go to a book store (go to a used book store to save a few bucks).

Good luck and congratulations for having the desire to finish your education!

No, it's not. I didn't think I'd do so well, But I ended up in the top 2% of all graduates receiving their diplomas in 2005 (not just G.E.D.)

One tip, do not over-analyze the questions. A lot of them are simpler than they seem, and many more are just of "normal" simplicity.

Study, but don't stress. If you can, take a G.E.D. prep course for a semester. It'll really help, and they go over examples which are remarkably similar to the real questions.

Best of luck. If you're confident you can pass, you'll do fine.

No, it's really not. If you need them, the center where you sign up to take the test should have study materials for the test. If you study these materials, the test should be easy!

Good luck!

As with all things academic, it depends on your ability to learn and remember, how motivated you are and how much time you are willing to study.

A challenge yes, hard, perhaps -- impossible, no!

GO FOR IT!!!
