You could stand in my presence all day long. This will surely put you in your place and make you realize you are not as cold hearted, cocky, or as much of an asshole as you think you are. By comparison you would seem like a big pussy with little or no confidence and your smirk would turn to a frown. I am the alpha male, you are little boy. I get what I want, when I want it. I am everything that women want, I am everything you want to be.

forgive what ever wrong has been wronged against you and let it go. The world don't owe you anything and the world isn't out to hurt you. Smile, and let people in........... That is what life is and that is what life is all about. Life is a learning experience for us all........ wether you go through it cocky and sarcastic as an ****** or with smiles and a heart that will get you through smoothly........ you can learn life easy or hard........ its your choice. But noone is out to get you, so why are you out to get everyone first? Blessed be.

Are you saying you need that little smirk knocked off your face? You have just met your female counterpart. And the only way I'll change is......oh wait, there is none. Just mellow out a little and you'll be fine.

wel change might start with you changing your attitude on what you may be or what you are. How do others percieve you. Maybe its just your attitude stooping any change. do some serious thinking about how you want others to fel about you.
then and only then will the change start. watch how you present yur self to others and try relly try to keep form being negative about yourself and others. Just might bring a lot of happiness and better feelings about yourself to you today.
we tend so often to make oursleves bad when inside we can be a cool neat person and enjoy others. Good luck on changing

Run for political office. The media will take care of any cocky issues.

Some day you will run into someone just like you and you will get badly hurt. Practice being kind. It's not that hard. What you are doing is just a mask to protect yourself anyway.

You have taken the first step already. You realize you have a problem and want to change it. Just like anyone else beats a habit, they work at it. Wish ya luck, when you find yourself this way, just realizing you are doing it, and stop yourself.

don't really get what you are trying to say---but i'll take a stab at it.
Don't be self-centered, volunteer your time and talent. Be generous. Enjoy life's blessings--the sun rise, the sun set, nature, etc. Practice random acts of kindness. Love begets love....It softens the heart of stone.
