Where are you trying to view them?
If from your files, then make sure that the file association for it is set up correctly. In Windows Explorer, go to Tools/Options/File Types and scroll down to GIF. In mine, it's associated with Photo Editor.

RIght-Click on the file. Select "Open with", then select any of the picture viewing software that shows up such as windows picture viewer or even paint brush. Good luck.
