I use to bartend in a strip club for almost 11 years and to answer your question honestly, I have to say it varies by age.

Kids 21 - 28 typically don't have a lot of money and usually only spend up to $100 on drinks and tipping the girls. They often come with buddies too...who are just as broke.

Men 28 - 35 are willing to spend money, but only if you sit and listen to their sob stories about how bad their wives are. They typically spend anywhere from $100 - $200, more on alcohol than on girls though. They will come with a friend, but more often alone.

Men 35 and older have money and spend money...an obscene amount of money if you ask me. These are the guys in the VIP rooms, running tabs at the bar and tipping everyone. They almost always come alone and are out looking for more than they pay for.

It's sad to see, pathetic that I know this, but it's the truth! Hope it helps.

First, you need to find a hotel room, New Years is the busiest day in town & if you don;t have a room yet then that is your first priority. Expect it to be overpriced & at this late date expect to take whatever you can find. Second; New Years is an exception to al the rules. The strip is closed to car traffic that night. What ever you do, your going to have to walk to get there. The street will be packed with people so don't be in a hurry. Third; No, things don't close at 3 am on New Years....but..but. but, that doesn't mean your going to get into those clubs to enjoy it. Many of them are closed to the general public that night due to private parties or reservations required. Expect any club to be extra expensive that night. Unless you have connections consider that other posters advice. Good Luck.

I hope that the 'average guy' doesn't blow his money at strip clubs. My husband spent a weekend in New Orleans for a bachelor party last year and told me that the guys that he was with spent two or three hundred dollars every time they walked into one of those places. I don't know if that is common, or if they were splurging on the weekend. My husband said that he spent from $50 to $80 in each of the clubs for drinking alone.

I've only been a few times over the past few years. I just got to thinking, why was i paying to watch some women take her clothes off that i cant even touch?....when i could find one to do the same thing that i could touch outside the strip club. It's not a hard choice for me,..lol!! I quit paying to see women i cant touch.

it all depends. some place you can go in and just hang out with some buddies and have some drinks for $50 and other times you might drop $200 in an hour. unless your trying to get another girl to come home with you bringing another girl is not what most guys are going to do.
