It is the theory that all matter is composed of certain energies. The company has divided up that energy. It can explain the existence of God...the ability to levitate...psychic abilities...the universe etc... Seems you all would be interested in checking it out for education sake since so many of you ask such Stuuuuuupid questions (you know who you are)!
I asked a reasonable question and got nothing but a bunch of smart remarks. I don't deserve that for introducing something that is interesting. At least it doesn't target another's beliefs like most of the ignorant questions asked here for shock value and immaturity only! Bunch of teenagers!(again...you know who you are and it shows in the answers you gave). For those who gave such answers...you SUCK!

Well, since matter can be considered a form of condensed energy, energy must be considered a physical thing.
If "God" is energy, then He would not be a spirit, He would be a thing.
I break it down this way.
There are things, and spirits. They are opposites
Things are made of matter, energy, and occupy space, and persist in time, and cannot create thoughts or perceive.
Spirits are not made of matter, energy, do not occupy space, and can create thoughts and perceive. A spirit watches time go by. A spirit may thus consider that it has size and occupy space, and create energy.

You must be talking about metaphysics, (Unitarian church), It is a cult, and it is not considered a Christian church. You don't seem to be a peacemaker to me....i think you better change doctrines and a new way of thinking. I t seems to me that you are very close minded to the universal truth. there are more Christian Churches then metaphysics, It is not interesting it's all a fantasy that a man made. Metaphysics is targeted to those that can pick and choose a belief system. The word of God is unchangeable, it is not to be picked and chosen it is intended to be accepted and practiced as is. Why would anyone want to change it? God inspired the Bible for the gift of salvation and God is perfect.

the simple statement can explain what you are asking
energy is the source of life without it there
would be no life and therefore no life no god
or nothing else . no one can tell you for sure
the day minute or secound that that first spark or energy became to be.or who else has it so many questions so few answers you don't haqve to be the person to figure this all out you
can enjoy it though for as long as you have the spark.
