Is there a hotkey that will make your screensaver come on early. I know that you can preview it and set the time for when it comes on but is there a botton you can push?

Your screensaver is nothing more but an executable that ends with the extension .scr. Once you have found the file (usually located in the Windows folder), you can create a shortcut and place it on your desktop just like you would with any other file.

Since you can create keyboard shortcuts from shortcuts by modifying the properties of it, it then becomes easy to bind keyboard keys to a screensaver.

There is a program that can do this:

You could also make a shortcut to the .SCR file onto your desktop and then you just have to double click it and it will turn on. You could also just lock your computer by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and then selecting Lock Computer.

Not that I know of. Trying to hide something from someone? You could just lock your cpu.
