All the boring machines that I know about are relatively large machines. Since they are large machines they are generally intended for large production parts. However they are probably capable of boring small pieces with large quantities. This does not mean that they should be used for this purpose. It might might better economical sense to get a more appropriate sized machine and or process to make the holes that you need. You may not even need to bore them out.

Other tools to make/alter holes are: reamers, boring bars, laps/hones, burnishing tools and I am sure there a some more. These may be capable of producing the type of hole(s) that you need for a a better price.

It can make precise holes. An example is the kind used to make gun barrels out of a solid steel rod.which cuts the entire barrel length to high tolerances. That process takes 12 minutes for a shotgun so it is not a high quantity tool but a high quality tool.

If you want little things done well at high speed you need a Swiss Screw Machine.
