Mine was a jacket potato with beans and cheese.
it was rock hard in the middle - I forgot to turn the oven up high enough! and i burnt the beans. Got an F for that one!
My cookery teacher was a right old bag who would taste test everything (fat cow) and then criticize u in front of everyone making u feel a complete failure.
Hence I did not take it for my GCSE's.
PS I now cook in a busy cafe and my brekkies are fantastic!!

The first thing I remember in 'Cookery' classes at comprehensive (aged 11 ) was Coconut Madeleines (only our teacher called them Macaroons). My sister's teacher was far more adventurous - she let them all boil an egg! We regularly cooked Saturday supper and a cake for Sundays, at home.

Yup....Home Ec in high school. Due to lack of ovens and all, we cooked in groups of 5 students....
On chocolate chip cookie day, the girl in charge of measuring measured 1/4 cup instead of 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.
Delicious....the teacher (also the boys' soccer coach! don't know how he got stuck teaching cooking - what a trip seeing him in an apron!!) almost puked when he tasted them!

I remember making bread and rock cakes at primary school. We did a few cookery lessons at secondary second too - I remember making a fruit flan, quiche and beef cobbler

The first thing i remember successfully cooking was macaroni cheese- couldn't believe it was actually edible!!!

Yes but only the girls did it which was a bit sexist!
I hated it and spent my time daydreaming out of the window. This probably explains why I can't cook now.

Plum Jam and I told the teacher off for not using the plum stones tied in a bag to help make the pectin, she wanted to throw them away. I used them to make my jam, mine set and hers didn't.
