a round robin consists of 3 selections and ten bets (twenty if done EW)

the bets are: 1 treble
3 doubles
3 pairs of single stakes about bets (each being worth 2 bets)

lets call the three horses A, B and C:

the treble is straight foward the money rolls from one horse to next next and then to the third, but if one losses the bet is down, it is also known as an accumulatior.

the three doubles work in the same way but you only need two winners:

AB
AC
BC

the single stakes about bets are i little more complecated but bare with me. for sake of ease lets say all three horses won at 2/1.

One pair of bets (AB): you have £1 win on A @ 2/1 if your horse wins you bank your winnings (£2) and your £1 stake is drawn to the next horse (B) to give you a secound single and vise versa. You have £1 on B @2/1 if he wins you bank your £2 and your £1 stake is drawn across to horse A.

repeat for AC and BC.

the bet has lost popularity with the abolishment of tax as you didn't have to pay tax on your secound bet (the money drawn across) as you don't pay tax any more people have stopped doing it. hope this helps.

1 treble
3 doubles
3 singles(round robin)

Do not try the bet as one loser automatically throws out 4 bets (1 treble, 2 doubles and a single.

Do not do it. It is a crap bet, stick to singles or daft accumulators for small stakes.
