dont like the minimalistic look, it's too cold, clinical and like a lab, gothic can be made to look really warm and comfy

Gothic comes in and out of Vogue. You could probably get some great deals on furniture if you go to a second hand store.
I do, however, prefer the cool colors like white or icey blues--like there is this really nice blue from benjamen moore called white satin (or satin ribboon). It is beautiful with whites.

I am not one for white or minimal..... I like the gothic approach to decorating if it is done right.... my house has atleast 2 rooms that can be considered "gothic" like the room where I keep all of my swords and weapons that I have collected....

I used to like gothic etc, but now i prefer lighter shades and minimalist......gothic is not in vogue now.

I think color with lots of light makes a house feel like home. But like the old saying goes: to each his own.

I like an in between look. My living room is cream and chocolate brown with red accents. Very cosy!!!!

I like minimilistic myself, it is easier to keep clean too as their is no clutter, but gothiscan be nice but can also be a bit dark and depressing.
