If you have to ask, you're probably being played.

Players are in it for one thing - notches on the bed post. Resist this and after three or four dates the players usually move on.
Watch for conversation, an experienced player will know all the right things to say to put you at ease and make you feel good (most nice blokes can't get this right). There is another question on this site - are all the nice guys taken? Try looking at some of the answers! If he is too nice and single then there is a high probability he is a player.

Read all the other answers from other people and no one has actually answered you in full.
Basically you will never know if you are being played until it hits you smack bang wallop in the face. No matter what people tell you. There is no such thing as a player.
A guy or a girl can lie about things and string you along until someone else better comes along. Thats the Art of playing!!
If someone has more than one partner on the go then eventually he or she will be found out..
Just because a person may be full of themselves does not always mean they are a player. In most cases people misjudge this for confidence. The person may just be confident in the way they are. It doesnt mean they are a player or love themselves..
So in essence Everyone is a player. We all play for people effections. Or interest or opinions.
Hey your doing it now..
We all learn from mistakes so if you are played as such hey just get on with life, what goes around comes around.. A x

sweetie - if we could answer that they'rd be no broken hearts in this world!! In my experience a player is usually quite full of himself, is way to at ease with the ladies, constantly charming and disappears without reason often. His mobile will either be turned off or unanswered (whilst hes getting jiggy with his other women!) Signs will be there - so just watch out!

Honey, you just know it. Trust your instincts, my girl. You have a deep radar inside that warns you if a bloke is ratty. Use that wonderful feminine instinct and keep your heart safe.

Its all about attention baby, at all times sometimes it doesnt mean anything if he doesnt give you attention certain time but there are some important situations if he doesnt give you attention hes got some one else on his mind or maybe serously busy or he could be really smart and you can never find out this way

If you dont understand the motive of anything that the person says then ask the person to clairfy. If they start being evasive or enigmatic....you know he's playing you.

Trust your instincts, don't kid yourself. If you have doubts, you're probably on to something.
If he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would be faithful then he's most probably not.

Check his body language. Watch his behaviour closely. He will surely give it away unconsciously during intercourse, when you chat, when he sleeps or something. Just watch him.
