I like so much to go through questions and answers on Y! Answers, and sometimes I post my own questions...but lately the answers are too offensive to go through! Some people accuse and abuse others with their words. Should'nt we all do soemthing about this?

You can't start censoring people's opinions because you don't agree with what they're saying! Use the flag feature for "true" abuse. Otherwise, you have to take the good with the bad.
Not everyone has a "sweet" personality, myself included. It would be a boring site if every question and answer were "sugar coated"

What are you gonna do? A question was asked and answers were given. There's no rule that says the answers have to be right, agreeable, or even coherent for that matter. There are rules about what constitutes them being offensive however, and if that is the case, then report them. That is all I think you can do.
On another note, try not to get offended. Some of these people are just kids who think those kinds of responses are fun and/or cute, kinda like making crank calls. Other than that, keep in mind that no matter the age, everyone is not mature enough to take anything seriously, so why would they take something intended for entertainment purposes only seriously?

It would be nice to have a built in flag that redirects an answer that is inappropriate. Keywords can flag it. I do believe that there should be a 'Fiction & Raunchy' category, because so many have these bizarre tales that ramble, but clearly do not belong in the category they have selected.

this is a site where we get a chance to view our opinions and, naturally we are all very different individuals...so, things are bound to get nasty if we are disagreeing with each other continuously! so if you are unhappy, click on the "report abuse" button, and im sure something will be done about it. do not take it to heart, everybody just wants to be right, and most do not accept it when they are not!

Just report the abuse. I have noted one person who almost always
calls the person who posted the question " you moron". What's more he invariably has nothing else to say that can be considered helpful.

It depends on what you consider to be offensive. If some stupid tool asks a horrible question, he/she deserves a smart azz comment. Some people are just bored and ask idiotic questions.....Know what I mean?

One person gets cranky and it sets off everyone else.
Plus, I think mercury is still in retrograde.
Or....and I think I've nailed it here - all the women on here have synched up. Since we're all experiencing PMS (or PMT for the brits) at the same time, the effect is overwhelming.
Yeah, that's gotta be it....

Is English your second language? Your grammar sucks and you should really try the spell check feature.

You can report them, but it just eggs them on further.
To me, dumb questions get dumb answers...good questions on the other hand, get my best!
I wish we could do more than report, but in private, people have very little manners!
