The Holy Lord is in all of us, We are Children of The Almighty God! We can sit and read many different versions of the Bible! What I feel that is the most Important & Honorable thing to do is to have complete Love & Trust in God, and in ourselves! If you feel that the Bible is not truly adequate, then you should follow your Heart! Gods Wisdom is deep inside of us, he lets us know in our Hearts & Souls when we are doing right or wrongs! If you truly do Love, Trust, and have Faith in The Lord, He will Guide you in the right direction!!!!!
God Bless You!!!!

The original manuscripts are the true words form God
the translations you mentioned are in substantial agreement
I personally like the essentially literal translations you didnt mention English Standard Version, New King James and the older one NASB (was a little wooden and hard to read so wasnt popular)
The non essentially literal phrase for phrase translations like NIV are useful but I prefer the other
King James has alot of language where the meaning changed and is harder for me to read but in some ways it iwll be a mater of taste

ALL OF THE ABOVE! there ARE SEVERAL TRANSLATIONS TO THE BIBLE, THE WERE WRITTEN IN DIFFERENT TRANSLATIONS TO GIVE YOU A BETTER VIEW AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCRIPTURES. i HAVE AT LEAST 6 TRANSLATIONS AND I USE THEM ALL. the ONE I USE THE MOST IS THE NEW AMERICAN STANDARD AND NEW INTERNATIONAL BIBLE. they ARE WRITTEN IN UP-TO DATE ENGLISH. they ONLY ONES THAT HAVE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT BIBLE THAT THEY TRANSLATED THEMSELVES AND ADDED MORE BOOKS ARE THE CATHOLICS. they HAVE THEIR OWN. WHY? BECAUSE THEY ADDED THE APOCRYPHA BOOKS. THESE BOOKS ARE NOT RECOGNIZED TO BE INSPIRED BY GOD

what I can tell you is that all of them are more reliable
and historically accurate than the Queeran of Islam.
The Queeran was written much later than the Bible,
and it claims to know the true events in the life of
Christ (it claims Jesus was never crucified).
I would prefer to believe the words of Matthew, Mark,
Luke and John, rather than a book which attempts
to distort historical truth for its own purposes.
