David,
When I see your "questions" I wonder why lies, arrogance, deception, and cowardly propagandists exist.
=======================
David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

I'm a gay atheist.

I do not believe that Jesus was the son of god. I think, if he existed at all, he was probably a groovy peacenik/Gandhi kind of guy. Maybe he had an unfortunate son of god complex. Maybe Mary cheated and sold the biggest whopper ever to Joseph. Maybe the son of god thing was something that evolved after the crucifixion. Who knows?

However the christian mythology happened to evolve, I believe in humanity. Laying all our accomplishments at the door of some invisible superhero rather cheapens them. The glory of man is that though flawed and bickering, we've managed to drag ourselves out of the wild and create something beautiful and fleeting.

Any religion claiming to be the one true religion, and saying all others is wrong, is a sh*t religion. God would only show love and understanding. What's with those crappy beards? May have been fashionable 2000 years ago dude, but you look like right c*nts. How about worship God AS YOU UNDERSTAND IT. Now grow up, open your mind and heart, and stop being such a fool to yourself.

I dont believe in jesus or god or any of that. I totally respect other peoples religion and more power to u for finding ur calling. I believe in myself and that is about it. I hate to think that we are here to simply be part of one giant test. I prefer to believe that we are completely free and able to do whatever we want. I dont believe in hummanity becasue people are greedy, manipulative, and deceitful. I like to think of myself as a good person even if i have no religous affiliation. It may seem sad that i believe that life is all there is but that is what works for me.

See, atheist means lack of belief - therefore no god.
Gays can be any religion they choose to be.
Murderers can be any religion.
Muslims worship the same god as the Jews and Christians.

You may be Jewish and saved, you are also incredibly arrogant.

In Jesus dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col.2:9 below) -

oGod the Father
oThe Holy Spirit of God the Father
oThe Word of God the Father

The only begotten son of God the Father (Jn.1:14 below), Jesus (the Word - Jn.1:1, Jn.1:14 below), His beloved Son (Matt.3:17 below), was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matt.1:20 below).

It is God the Father who conceived in Mary (blessed among women) His very Word through His very Holy Spirit (Matt.1:20 below).

Col.2:9 For in him dwelleth ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Jn.1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, (Matt.1:20, Matt.3:17 below)) full of grace and truth.

Jn.1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (Re.1:6, Lk.1:47 below).

Re.1:6And hath made us kings and priests unto God (Jn.1:1 above) AND his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Lk.1:47And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour (Jn.1:14, Jn.1:1, Re.1:6 above).

Lk.1:68 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

Matt.3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son (Matt.1:20 below), in whom I am well pleased.

Matt.1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (Jn.1:14, Matt.3:17 above).
