Molly, molly. What a joker, with the primary cause of divorce today being female adultery. Hee, hee.
I realize women believe divorce is about rotten men leaving faithful loving women for a younger woman, but I can't remember a case where a woman filed for divorce, and another man didn't come in the back door as the husband was dragged out the front door.

Hehe....coveting is fun. I think cause we got the whole childbirth thing, we get a break and are allowed to covet =)
I think I'll do that this weekend. Just covet. My hubby will be ok with that, he's the one I go home with every nite =)

Back when the commandments were written, women had a very low place in society. Women were still held to the same laws. If you note, when a women was "caught" in adultery, it was she who was stoned, but we heard nothing about what happened to the man. We are all held accountable for our actions against God and man regardless of sex, so don't think for a moment that anyone has it easy.

Yeah I'd say about a dozen wives have avidly tried to get me in bed/ backseat/ bathroom. That's why I'll never get married.
All things considered, coveting is a purely involuntary act. Who the hell is going to tell you not to do it?

It does say thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's *** however. That might specifically refer to the 'neighbour'...
Of course, it's impossible to even speak about your 'neighbour's wife' because your neighbour's wife _is_ your neighbour, isn't she? But she was just another piece of property back then... And still is for a lot of god Christian folk...

In the time of the Bible, women were not exactly free agents who married out of love. Rather they were legally the wards of their fathers and then when they got married their husbands. Men eyeing their neighbors' wives was parallel to eyeing his goods.
Let's not forget also that in the Bible there are references to adulteresses who were stoned to death. So it wasn't exactly a one-way street.

Probably women have been on the roll play as homebodies, housewives, whatever.... and they are the ones at home 24/7 so one would expect them to be easy targets of temptation.....kinda like the series, Desperate houswives....if you know what I mean....husbands are always at work....and no play...making all that money to make ends meet!
