Select what you want to move, then Cut is (CTRL+X), then just paste it where you want it to be (CTRL+V).

Yoi's right. That's the only way I know of. If you have Adobe, you can convert the Word file to an Adobe Acrobat file, then in Adobe you can move a page as a single unit, but that's really a roundabout way to achieve the same thing.

One thing I forgot - if your document has several sections and/or different headers and footers, you might run into a problem. If this is the case, email me and I'll help ya.

Block (highlight) the text to be moved.

Click on Edit and Cut (or Ctrl X)

Click on Edit and Paste (or Ctrl V) where you want to paste it.

This is referred to as cut and paste.

all you really need to do is cut and paste. But make sure Word doesn't do something funky with the formatting.

You can cut and past or copy and paste, then go back and cut the original out. Or you can highlight it and drag it to where you want it.
