though my way of life was not changed. i came to know people belonging to one religion spewing venom and slinging mud against other religions. the rs category strengthened my belief that only the path of rationalism and Buddhism are the only peace ful paths who do not spread hatred against others.

Before Yahoo! Answers, i used to think Religion & Spirituality is only discussed by old people. After Yahoo! Answers, I discovered that religion & spirituality is a category, dictated by Yahoo!, a subgenre of Society & Culture, and is for old and uptight anal-retentive people.
No friends, yet.

My life? Well, I'm not sure about that but I've made good friends here and I've changed my perspective. Does that count?

I'm sure some of us benefited from Yahoo! answers. The ones who asked serious questions and gets serious responses. For me, some of them have replied to me personally for my comments/answers (thank you concerned for that but I have been unable to reply back to you. My messages were returned with a note that the email addresses were not confirmed or something like that. Thanks anyway.)

Yes and No, my Dear. Mostly I've found the depths of human ignorance and the heights of it's spirituality all sometimes on one page. It hasn't changed my life but in some sense it has added more layers to it. It daily gives me something new to think about (outside of OMG..I can't believe they said *insert thingy here*!!!) Blessings on you.

Yes. Answering questions about my beliefs (or lack thereof) has actually made things clearer to me.

No, just reinforced what I have already reasoned out about metaphysics and epistemology.
Reality exists and is knowable to us.
Reason is our best way to learn about that reality.

It's had little or no effect on me.
I don't spend much time in this section.
Maybe it has renewed my contempt for the religious.
