A Quality Analyst is someone who tests the product to make sure the quality is passable.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA & QC) are the same thing. It's the process of testing a product to assure the quality is up to company standards, or control the amount of errors/issues that are sent out to the customer.

The anaylist determines what is wrong or right about the quality process. The Control person executes the process to correct what is wrong or to maintain what is right. The Assurance person actually does the quality checks.
