The First Teaching of Bhagavad Gita is that we are not this Body.. Hence any one who is learned cannot differentiate based on Skin or body of any person..
" The humble sages, by virtue of true knowledge, see with equal vision a learned and gentle brahmana, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater [outcaste]." BG 5.18.
This is because he sees every one as Soul , Part and parcel as children of God.
There are actually only 4 divisions in Vedic-culture.. this divisions are not to discriminate among people... But to assign different Duties to different people (according to respective capablity).
It is clearly stated in Bhagavad Gita that these division are according to Activity and Quality..(BG 4.13) and Not at all on Birth or Skin..
These Division are Priestly Class, Warrior Class, Business Class and worker Class.. We find these category even in society where athism is prominent and even in Communist.
Even in Muslim Community we find them- One is a Priest fulltime, one is a Jihadi warrior, One is doing Bussiness and financially supporting Mosque and one who is simply serving the other 3.
So the division was done only so that different duties can be assigned for the proper maintenence of Society..
If you ever get to read - what these Duties are - you will be amazed ...
I cannot say about Bolliwood. They show what sells ..
Krishna, the Supreme Personality of GodHead, is himself Blackish.. There are many great Sages ..even today HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaj.. who is respected as great sage by many followers of Hare Krishna was Black by Birth...
Most South Indian where Black and most of the prominant Spritual Leaders are from South India..
Of course..now a days very few people are interested in learning the true teachings of God ...

In the Gita, Krishna tells Arjun that as Arjun is of the warrior caste, it is Arjun's duty to fight in the war, even though it would mean killing his o wn friends and relatives. That is how the Gita begins. The idea is that each person has certain duties, based on his/her caste. According to the Upanishadas, it is possible to change your caste, based on your knowledge and your actions. But it also depends on the purity of your heart. In other words, let's say you are a Kshatriya (warrior caste) and you have plenty of religious and scientific knowledge. You have actually done performed many relilgious rites and sacrifices. You have conducted many scientific experiments. You really know your stuff and you have demonstrated your knowledge in a practical and verifiable way. If you wish, you could become a Brahmin. But your heart must be pure too. You should be changing your cate for the right reason. For example, if you are changing your caste because there is a war coming up and you are afraid to fight, you are not yet fit to become a Brahmin. Or if you are a trader (Baniya) and you want to become a warrior just because you are good with a sword and business bores you, that is not a good reason to become a Kshatriya. Of course, whether your heart is pure, only you and God will ever know for sure. However, most intelligent people are able to tell, with a good deal of accuracy, if someone's heart is really in what he/she is doing or not.

I'm not an Indian, but an American who was born in UK. I am also not a Hindu, but, a Sanathana Dharmic. Hindu is the derogatory word coined by the Persians and later given even more dirty meaning by the Indian Muslims, just in case you don't know. I must request you to kindly refrain from saying things like that to our other Brethren since the Sanathana Dharma is the Universal Path, not a inclusive one and such statements can misrepresent us. Neither the Vedas nor the Upanishads, nor the Bhagavad Gita say anything about Caste. The only reference to the Castes is in the Manu Smriti where the Chatur Varnya or the Four Colors or Four Descriptions were misinterpreted, quite recently in History, to give ascendancy to the Castes. The actual shlokas, or verses, read "Brahmano mukmasit, Kshatriyo bahubala, ... ..." Let me translate for your convenience from Sanskrit to simple English. Asitha or asit means "seated upon" and mukha refers to the face or the forehead, the seat of the intellect. Hence, a Brahman [the Teacher or Priest] is he who is seated upon the forehead or in the intellect. Bahu means shoulder and bala means strength, hence, he is a Kshatriya [the Soldier or Warrior]who lives by the Strength of his Shoulders. Similarly, he is a Vysya [the Trader or Businessman] who lives upon the stomach [of others]; and, last, but not least - he is a Shudra [a Worker or a Craftsman] who is like the legs of the Society [for without him, the whole thing falls]. Now, this was misinterpreted to mean that the Brahman sprang from the forehead of Brahma, the Kshatriya from the Shoulder and the Vysya from the stomach and the Shudra from the feet. How this is misinterpretation is clear from the translation by anyone who knows and speaks Sanskrit, isn't it? Fortunately, I had the privilege of learning from Swami Aghehananda Bharathi, the ex Pontiff of the Belur Mutt and Head of the Ramakrishna Mission, also one of the signatories of the Declaration of Independence of India, whom the late Indira Gandhi ousted claiming he was a foreigner without valid passport [!?!?] because he was a 6'4" tall White Austrian who had fought beside Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi for the Independence of India and, of course, had no Austrian passport since he was an Indian. Anyway, he came here to USA where he taught in Syracuse University and India's loss was America's gain. He was my Guru's Guru. Sorry for the digression, but, I had to establish my credentials. Now, the Caste System, which was something that began around the time of the Mughals gaining power in India, was established by some unscrupulous Vaishnav Gurus whom you'll pardon me for not detailing because of the controversy involved. However, the fact that this is full of holes is established by the simple fact that Krishna was a Shudra, a lowly cowherd, who became a Kshatriya by becoming a Prince; and, similarly, the Dhana Shura Veera Karna, born a lowly sutaputra or the son of a charioteer who was a Shudra, was elevated to the Kshatriya and made the Angaraja or King of Anga; in the Mahabharatha. Also, the Maryada Purusha Rama was a Kshatriya who became an Acharya [a very high ranking Brahman] when he became a Chatur Vedi or Master of the Four Vedas. Why, even Hanuman, a lowly monkey and Vaanara, or Forest Dweller became a Chatur Vedi!? Shiva was a lowly chandala, or a Cremation Ground inhabitant who attained the rank of being the Highest of all Vedis who holds the Antima Veda or teaches the Final Knowledge. All the Indians follow the Shalivahana Shaka, the calendar in honor of a humble potter, a Shudra, who became one of the greatest Emperors of India! And, last but not least, the very Gayathri Japa, the Mantra that makes one a Brahman was given to them by a Kshatriya - Vishwamitra. Also, lest we forget, during the Upanayana, the incumbent Brahman says "I who was a Shudra till now, beg you to give me the Gayathri Japa and make me a Brahman." Also, let us not forget that the Brahman must have humility and beg ritually saying "Bhavatir, bhikshaan dehi." Karmanye vaadikaraste maa phaleshu kadachana. Do your duty without expectations of the fruits for they shall come to you automatically. Om Shanthi.
