I'm asking this question for my girlfriend's friend. I'm a man so I feel differently about this. The scenario happened at their business office. Apparently the boyfriend took home the attractive business client back to the hotel by himself. I guess WWIII was the result.

If World War Three started, that is because of insecurity and distrust. If the guy had a non-sexual reason for taking the business client to the room I fail to see the problem. Everyone should just grow up and stop assuming that men and women can't be alone in a room with a bed in it without it automatically turning sexual.

Yes it was wrong looking at it on the surface. I'm betting from the result that she was not happy. He should have known if she found out it was going to get ugly. It all comes down to the couple and how much they respect and trust each other. I mean, if it was just business, there shouldn't have been a problem. Obviously in this situation, he wanted more...What was his girlfriend supposed to do...??? She should have gone off on him. He would have had it been her. Cheating is so stupid. Why waste the time and effort if you have someone. And if you don't want that someone, don't hurt them that way. I don't blame her for starting WWIII...!!!

I don't think it's wrong, especially if it's a client. What was he supposed to do? Tell he he couldn't drive her because he was engaged? That would have sounded weird and somewhat presumptuous. I guess that's why people have and engagement period...to work out the rules.

I sincerely think that this issue zeros on the whole area of fidelity and mutual trust between you and your feancee. If you trust her and her friend you shouldnt worry so much about her being with the cliant alone.
Human beings cant easly be teamed but they can be understood and trusted. It gives more peace of mind to TRUST your fiencee that to doubt her. Love her and trust her and you will be happy,

It's all about trust vs insecurity, but there may be another issue: respect. Why would he put himself in questionable circumstances in the first place unless he was totally indifferent to her feelings?

If the client wasn't attractive would it be an issue? If the person doens't have trust, that's really the problem here......

For business it is just being polite. But if it is unusually polite (meaning he did not send other clients back to ttheir hotels), then the guy should be ~!@#$%^&*()_+|}"?><

As long as he just dropped her off and then went right home, what's the problem?

Sounds like someone has insecurity issues. Has he cheated on her before? If so then she is justified.

I guess it all boils down to does she trust him. If the answer is no then the marriage won't last very long(if they get married due to this issue).

It is all based on trust. If you trust your fiance, then it shouldn't matter WHO he is giving a ride too. If you don't, then maybe you should reevaluate your engagement and relationship.
