1 Religions are all patriarchal, and in male dominated religions masculinity is the most important trait

False: the SHekinah foir instance is revered in Judaism, it is the SHekinah that Abraham comes itnot the presence of and is transformed. Other fiaths such as Gnosticism actively revere the divine femionine. Hinuduism also acknowledges the feminine as does Buddhism

2 Religions need followers and the only way to get them in large numbers is to make the women followers have more kids

some do. But not all religions are like this nope.

3 As a result of this any union that did not or does not produce children is considered wrong, because they lose followers

People who think sex is only for procreation are 1. living in an antiquated age 2. stupid 3. not living in reality.

If sex was only for procreation the world would be a sorrier place

4 God's of every religion is always a masculine male

false (see 1 above)

so can you understand as to why all religions are against homosexuality?

not all are actually, though many are. Frankly the real reason is backward ideas assuming that sex is only a physical process, it is not.

Interestingly enopugh Christ himself says NOTHING about homosexuality

All religions are not against homosexuality.
1. All religions are not patriarchal.
2. There are other ways that religions increase their memberships. Not all religions seek more members.
3. See previous answers.
4. Some religions worship Goddesses which are always female.

Your ideas might have been correct if you had specified the religions you were speaking about instead of saying "All religions".

Not all gods are masculine. Athena and Hera an others were female.

Lots of things are considered wrong by religions. Promiscuity for example. Even if a religion condoned, accepted, or embraced homosexuality, it usually will not condone promiscuity.

And part of religion is restraint and self-control, putting others before yourself. Some homosexuals will have a regular family, and not cheat on their spouse. The religious objection comes with the homosexual acts, not the fact that they are homosexual.

Homosexual acts are considered an unnatural act in most law and religions. The homosexual in this case has put his or her pleasure above what is natural, moral and/or legal.

Hmm, isn't abstinence in a heterosexual relationship unnatural also?

Ahhh, controversy.

I agree with you however not for those reasons. The bible is full of tons of garbage that modern day chrisitians disregrd. The only parts of the bible that specifically speak out against homosexuality also say that it is an abomination to wear mixed fibers in your clothes, you can buy slaves provided they are from neighboring nations, etc, etc. For some reason some Christians tell you when it comes to the part about the gays, god's word is eternal and unchanged, however no one says anything when the bible requests us to get the entire town together to stone to death those who sleep with their in-laws. In fact, the WORD homosexual or gay did not exist when the bible was written. It was translated from 2 words which would have been much more accurately described as "Sexual sin" such as prostitution , adultery, etc. Obvioulsy there was some homophobia involved with the translation.

It's a bit more in depth than your easy answer. You are not less a worshipper of God if you cannot produce children. The word "Allah" is neither masculine, feminine or even plural. It is the word "God" in arabic. God's word tells us that homosexuality is not the appropriate way. Are there gay animals? Humanity itself chooses paths that allows itself to choke on its own freedom. No rules, no culpability. To suggest God is masculine suggests He is like His creations which we are not. God is the greatest, with no partner and He alone deserves worship. Allaho Akbar.

Hmm..I agree with J N, the pagan religion is one of the religions where homesexuality is freely accepted and probably even endorsed. The majority of religions frown upon it, but you can't rule out every religion.

There are a lot of other religions. But the big ones like christian are anti-gay. It is really a desire to be "in with the in crowd" IMHO. No facts.
