that verse shows how easy it is to come to the salvation the Lord Jesus offers this world and all in it......He couldnt have made it easier for us and I for one am so thankful He did.....Jesus is Lord!

IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH " JESUS IS LORD"
That means you are putting your trust in Jesus
BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART GOD RAISED HIM FROM HTE DEAD
you believe that he died for you and now sits at the right hand of of God and that his sacrifice was suffient
YOU WILL BE SAVED
He has paid the price for your sins and one day you will receive eternal life.

I think this has to be taken in context with the rest of the Bible, if you really believe in your heart that Jesus is your Lord, and that He was raised from the dead, then you will also strive to follow his teachings, and keep his commandments. There's a whole big picture to keep in mind here.
