I know it is by the name of Allah or in the name of Allah, but the action of it? Profound means of it?

Bismillah means "In the name of Allah"

You will hear Muslims say this all the time because everything we do should be in the name of Allah. Before eating, Praying, Sleeping, Working, Everything.

If you are a Muslim, you are supposed to say it before you start something, anything.

For example, before writing an exam and (more importantly) before eating food.
