Interesting...

Are you a practicing Jew, because Jesus WAS one!

I've always wondered why Christians didn't adopt some or most of the Jewish traiditons at least!

I have my own traidition with the Last Supper, except I try and do it on the exact day (anniversary) with Rabinical wine, unleavened bread (although since it's the day before passover the bread can still have leavening), bitters, meat and bible reading.

I have no connection with Protestants and their little thimbull full of grape juice and tiny cracker. That don't do much for me at 11 AM on a Sunday.

Organized Christians are a little Pagan for me. Jews know how to celebrate, however the Cantoring thing is about as strange to me as what the Catholics do.

David,
When I see your "questions" I wonder why lies, arrogance, deception, and cowardly propagandists exist.

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

David, once again I challenge you to explain why you choose as your best friend someone who brings evil, calamity and woe to the people (Isaiah 45:7).

Next, please explain to me why it's OK that your god killed his only son. Doesn't your new-found religion teach you to emulate your god in all things? So does that mean it's OK for you to kill your only son, too? Especially if you do it to prove how much you love everyone?

I'm trying to understand, David. Really, I am. Please explain to me why I should believe in a god who is nothing more than a homicidal maniac who brings evil upon mankind.

There was probably a man named, Jesus. But we are all children of God. Therefore, he was not the only "son" of God.
