No, I am not scared that nothing will happen when I die. If God exists, and has determined the only way for salvation is through Jesus (which I believe), then I will spend eternity in a paradisial afterlife. I won't say "in heaven" because I see heaven as more of a concept than a place. However, if God exists and all paths lead to the same result...an afterlife...then I am safe just by default. Everyone would be fine. I can't comment on if God/gods exist in which other religions are the truth, because I do not know enough about them to fear what they believe would happen to unbelievers. If there is no God, as the question implies, and we die and it's over...why should I fear that? There's nothing to fear. /shrug

Not me. I agree that death is NOTHING, the total opposite of life.
Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 says that the dead have no knowledge.
Genesis 3:19: From dust you are to dust you shall return.
Ezekiel 18:4, 20: The soul that is sinning, it itself shall die.
Romans 6:23: The wages sin pays is death.
John 5:28,29: The hour is coming,,, when all those in the memorial tombs will hear my voice, and come out, some to a Resurrection to life, others to judgment

The real question is Are you afraid that because you didn't listen to the warnings all along on Yahoo answers from Christians who know what they are talking about, when you die your soul might be lost to a fiery lake in hell!!??
This is a good day for you though because we like to pray that God will lead people like you to him and our prayers will not go unheard and so when he is tugging at your heart and/or something happens to wake you up, you better take the warning be ready!

By nothing what do you mean? Everyone is a little afraid to die because it is the "unknown". But if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and read your Bible, you do know what is going to happen, and believe me something is going to happen, it's up to you on what that something is. I hope you make the right decision. Pray about it.

Who gave you the right to ask an iggnorant question like that. Why are you so worried about us Christians? Maybe if you speant more time worrying about where your going when you die then You would realize that its a mistake to assume WE Christians have NO where to go when WE do!! Thank You Very Much!!! :) AMEN!!!

I've got a question for you...
How do you KNOW what happens when you die? Since you say nothing happens?
Have you died and came back?
You have no idea what you are talking about do you?
Are you 12?

So strange that SOMETHING has happened before u were born. Always, Always, there have been something before.
I belive in God not for finding a cause of the end of life but for finding a cause of its origin.

They are so afraid that they have to construct delusionally superstitious after life places they convince themselves actually exist despite the fact that there is no proof that any such place could possibly exist.

Nope. "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important."
