I am about to propose to my girlfriend.
But looking for a WOW idea...
please help.
any idea is mostly welcomed.

Pretend to be shopping for a new TV and ask your lady to go 'shopping' with you. You could record your proposal on tape [ahead of time] and take it to a place like Best Buy or circuit city. Make arrangements for the manager to play the tape when you come in. You know like ask the person [worker] to show some tv's. Explain that you are interested in the HD output of the tv. Then they could say hold on a minute and I will get a tape or dvd and show you how good the HD is on this set.......
The employee pops in your recorded proposal hit the play button and you have your fiance standing in front of the tv - make sure the volume is up.

My husband had his all planned out. He was getting the basement(its a half finished basement) set up as like a camping trip.(I dont do outdoors camping;affraid of snakes) He set up a tent and one of those fake fires. He was getting all the camping gear together. Him and his best friend were going to take cardboard and paint it black and put light through it for stars. They were going to spell out will u marry me in the stars. He had this whole "camping trip" planned out, he had the food and wine bought and everything. Well he had my ring made special order you see and it came in a week early! He couldnt wait. He came over and I was in the shower. I get out of the shower and have on these monkey pajamas on and a towel on my head. I walk out of the bathroom and into the kitchen and my favorite song that I had always said I wanted to be my first dance when I got married was playing. I was like "okay" I get into the living room and there he stands with White Calla Lillies(the flowers I had always wanted for my wedding) looking all good. He asks me to dance then in the middle of it he gets down on one knee and pops the question! It was perfect! Not how I ever imaginned but it was absolutly perfect! The point is just do it from your heart. The fact that he had rememberd the song and the type of flowers made it special. People can give you a thousand ideas but only you know what is truely special between the both of you! Good luck and congrats! May you have a long and happy life with your soon to be bride-to-be!

It really depends on what she likes.
Do you think she would like to be proposed to in front of her family? If yes, propose at a family function...maybe get her family in on it.
Do you think she would like to be proposed to in public? If so, propose at a sporting event, if she is into it...maybe at a restaurant, or where she likes to go, maybe take her to the movies and have it come up on the screen before the movie starts.
Do you think she would like to be proposed to in a private moment? (This would be my preference, less pressure, I don't like a lot of people staring at me) If so take her somewhere private, propose at home after a romantic evening meal, take her to a park somewhere (without a lot of people) and propose to her over a picnic or as the sun goes down while you are on a evening stroll. Does she like to hike? Is there a beautiful waterfall nearby? Hike up to the top and propose to her there.
You just need to think about your girlfriend personality and figure out what she would like/what you can afford.

Take your girl on a hike and place the ring somewhere, and then say to her "hey look at this." She will immediately come over and let her find it and then once she finds it pop the question. Good luck to you..let me know how it works out if you use my idea.

My fiance proposed to me about 2 yrs ago and it was amazing, he put alot of time and effort into it, he set up a scavenger hunt for me I woke up in the morning and there was a card laid out that sent me to a salon for me to get my hair and makeup done, got another card when i was done there it sent me to get flowers, then got another card that sent me to get candy, got another card and was sent to get a dress and shoes that he purchased for me got another card that sent me to get a corsage,got another card that sent me to a hotel in our town i was told to go to the front desk and ask for a pen i was given a room key and went to the room( there were candy canes from the elevator to the hotel room in the shapes of hearts) and there was my fiance, Then we went downstairs to the lobby, there was a big Christmas tree and that's where he proposed, then we went back to our room and spent the rest of our day together in our room it was great, I took a lot of time and effort into what he did. He sent me all over the place and he actually printed out all the cards on nice 3'5 cards and they were all in the form of a poem, well good luck

take her to a cake store and have them have a cake all made up already that says will u marry me and her name // that would be cute and romantic
