Every dietitian I've ever talked to said you should only lose 2-3 lbs. per week, otherwise, you are starving your body of the nutrients it needs and will only gain what weight you did lose back plus extra.

The normal weight that i heard was to lose no more than 5 pounds per week!!!

Hard to say normal - The healthy way is about 2 pounds a week.
Dont skip out on water - Have plenty of it

between 2-3 pounds a week, you don't want to exceed that much because your heart needs time to adjust to the weight loss

TV diets and all that crap say you can lose more, but it's all money related.

One to two pounds is average.... when you first start a diet you usually lose up to 10 pounds.... then your body adjusts to your new lifestyle and you loose from one to 4 pounds a week.
