I am a little scared, a random person at out library gave me a book about it and i started reading. i feel like it has called me to study it, and i just need to know some answers.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have specific questions, I taught Wicca after training with my own coven, run a large Wiccan community and was committee member for the largest Wicca organisation in the UK a few years ago – just contact me via my profile.

A small tip for you, magic is not spelled 'magick' the use of the letter 'K' is to do with numerology and was introduced by Crowley, chances are if you are just starting to learn about Wicca you are also just starting to study occult so are unlikely to understand the significance. Some people claim this it to differentiate between magic of magicians and magic witches do, however I do believe we all know the difference when you use the word 'magic' in relation to Wicca. Use of the spelling 'magick' for this reason is pointless and a lot of people will instantly judge you as being interested in Wicca for fad value alone on your use of the spelling.

In the mean time, here are some reliable book and web sites for you;

magnificent, save up the examining! do not take each and every thing you study as completely maximum appropriate nevertheless, think of roughly it your self. I even have run accross many authors that i don't trust, as i'm particular you will in time. a mystical call is suposed to describe you. What extra suited place to discover it than interior of your self? i could recommend meditating on it, or appearing some form of visualization or scrying artwork until you come across it. a great thought that i've got not considered pronounced above is: in the previous you bypass to mattress say outloud, "i will see/hear my wiccan/witch/magical call this night and could remember it as quickly as I wakeful." it would desire to take some tries, yet i've got discovered this to be useful for different issues. the 1st call I chosen became with the help of random twist of fate on a similar time as coming up a character for a game (do I win the award of oddness?). I enjoyed Ithina and it caught for some years. some months in the past I chosen a various call that suits me much extra suited and that i think of describes me completely. i found it with the help of examining myself and It in simple terms got here and that i knew it became precise. hehe, Goth is exciting ^_^. for somebody my age (turning 20 this month) one can think of i could be over the full Goth section... I refuse to boost up!! >.< although, I even have discovered whilst assembly Pagans(and others) in my section i'm extra accepted if i'm donning non-black clothing and my glass pentacle rather of my silver one. in case you study something from my ramboling answer it is going to likely be this: study study study!!! and of direction: determine for your self if what you study is actual or not. finding a mentor is often great too.

This website will give you an basic understanding of some traditions and paths. Also in the same site you can find groups and individuals in your area. I have found the easiest way is to find a local shop and network with them.
