Exercise is the best way - don't try OTC things that claim to speed up your metabolism. Most just end up costing you money and can have a detrimental effect on your health.

Individuals have their own rate of metabolism... But if you excercise, I suppose it helps speed up the process. Just don't do it right after eating a meal.
