Its not serious, infact a lot of people have atleast one undescended testicle.
For your information, when we are forming as babies, the testicles are way up towards the stomach and they slowly descend down to the scotum until they are in place.
In some cases, the testicles do not complete this descent and get stuck somewhere between your belly and scrotum. You may even be able to feel them there - an ultasound scan would easily reveal this.
You can enjoy a normal sex life - but you probably would be infertile since sperm can not survive in high temperatures
