A disease or medical condition is an abnormality of the body or mind that causes discomfort, dysfunction, or distress to the person afflicted or those in contact with the person. A condition that may result in the concerned person who suffers from it not behaving in a way that is natural for his species or his nature. Sometimes the term is used broadly to include injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections, symptoms, deviant behaviors, and atypical variations of structure and function, while in other contexts these may be considered distinguishable categories. Some diseases have no symptoms. For example:-Gallbladder cancer. The same has to be detected by Lab test.

Please see the webages on Disease, Medical test, Surgery and Clinical practice guidelines.

Thats a bit of an open ended question - some diseases give you symptoms that you go to the Dr with and they do tests and tell you what you have - other diseases dont give any hints and sometimes go undiagnosed until you get tested for something else and they also find your original disease - sorry its hard to give advice without knowing your situation.

Alot of times doctors do white blood cell counts. White blood cells are more numerous when there is an infection or disease in our bodies because the point of the wbc is to fight infection. When there is a high count of WBC then doctors start to look for infections and diseases.

Also you start to feel weaker when you have a disease. You cant fight other illnesses as fast.

When you think there is something abnormal in your body. If there soemthing that is not supposed to be present like tumors or bumps and you are in doubt about it. For bacterial/ viral cases, fever is the first thing that you will experince. It means that your body is reacting to soemthing that is not supposed to be in yur body like microorganisms. Self-examination is important. If in doubt of anything, go to a doctor immediately. Hope this helps. God bless!

consulting a doctor is best if you don't know what is wrong with you...know the basics of a sickness...

1. high fever
2. coughing
3. tired attitude or mood swings

these can be easily be cured because it is either common cold or flu...but if there are symptoms that you don't recognize, immediately consult a close doctor...
