You might have seen pictures of the American flag waving on the moon. Did that occur to you as being kind of odd? It might not have, but Don and Yael discuss why it's not even possible--and how they got it to "wave." Flag on Moon
D: Yael, I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but I must admit that those photographs of the moon landing make me suspicious. I mean, the flag in those pictures of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong is rippling in the wind, and everyone knows that there is no atmosphere on the moon. And no atmosphere means no breeze.
Y: Well, as you can imagine, the folks who came up with the idea of taking an American flag to the moon were aware that unless they rigged something up, the flag would just hang there. So they built a special flagpole expressly for the purpose of making the flag appear to fly.
D: So our tax dollars went to work reinventing the flag pole?
Y: Act

On every planet there is some kind of solar energy showing (e.g. Aurora Borealis), and it is possible to have wind on the moon without atmoshpere (solar wind). That's my first theory. My second is that little thing called gravity. Things tend to float about in space, and the flag is no different. If you move it back and forth with your hand, it'll probably keep moving for a long time.

I do question the moon walking especially now that the video tapes are missing and their not so worried about it. So what does that tell you?
I also wonder why would our government go through so much trouble to do that and why have we not been back to the moon? You would think that once we have successfully landed on the moon we would want to study it up close and personal but why does are government do anything it does ?

I was there and remember that mission in July of 69. What your reading now is bunk, and the flag never waved on it's own.
yes it was rigged so people could see and identify the flag but it wasn't magic anyone that saw it on TV was told about it.
The way you people are trying to rewrite history to your own ends these days are just sickening.

The link below offers a scientific explanation on this.
Just because there is no air in space, doesn't mean fabric can appear to "wave", especially when the flagpole is twisted by one of the astronauts.

No,
We can't educate our children properly, complain about money,
and we're spending billions at NASA with no......yes no future....what does that offer us....we can't pay social security and fund it....what a joke. LOL
I believe you should ask your Senators to explain what you already figured out.....question them,.....and tell em you know what you can do about it.
