Of course it could. This country did just fine without them before and could do it again!

let's assume that the maximum estimate of 20 Million illegals is accurate. Right now, there are about 10 Million unemployed and homeless Americans (I'm sorry, Statesians, for the pc crowd). That will still leave 10 Million job openings (assuming all 20 Million illegals are gainfully employed in legitimate work). Those 10 Million jobs can then go to the approximately 8 Million immigrants wanting to enter legally. We have on average 300,000 new applications a year, most left to backlogs. We will have no problem finding legal man-power. As for prices rising because of increased wages, there a few key points: 1. not all illegals are below minimum wage with no benefits, 2. the average cost will balance out for most items between 2 cents to a dollar increase. 3. though there may be a period of adjustment, it would be reasonable to theorize a stable economy within a decade. a crash is possible, but unlikely. in any case, we've been through one before, we can handle one again.

Of course it could survive! We've gone through recessions before and picked ourselves and got back on our feet. We don't need all of this illegal labor in our Country. There are so many American people out of work and sure Congress and the rest of the higher-up's think that some American people wouldn't do the same type of work that the illegal immigrants are doing, well if they would move up the salary scale, I'm sure that there are a lot of American people who would do the work. Such as the homeless who are still in the frame of mind would be willing to get back on their feet. I look at this world and all that's happening in it and although I personally can't control what's going on, I just really feel we're living in the last days of time.

Didn't mean to sound depressed. But if this globe continues the hate, the dirty deals and all of the other crisis that's happening, we can pretty much kiss our a*s*es goodbye!

Of course it would. Our resources are vast and most of them are replenish-able.
Eliminate or drastically cut the flow of illegal aliens from our borders and begin to use our own Human resources, pay them a living wage with benefits.
The result of this would make the job pool a competitive arena where Americans would police the available jobs so that the aliens that do enter the country illegally have a more difficult time filling the vacancies. Thus, no jobs, no incentive to enter our country.
The cost of this action would be borne by the businesses who up to now are the cause of the influx in the first place.
Paying Americans a decent wage to do these menial jobs would simply cut into the already greedy pockets of big business. The trade off would be that Americans standard of living would rise, unemployment would drop, and our tax base would be higher.

Israel ought to probable live on. most of the U. S. help is for protective causes, and actually is often pumped again into the U. S. economic equipment via shopping for American. So, slicing it out should be felt regionally in the protection marketplace. Regardless, Israel has survived before this replaced into ever made an decision to them, and are experienced to finish that if it contains that. The Israelis take no longer some thing with no interest, and performance a historic previous surviving on a lot less. on the problem of the Germans, it really is help actually given to Holocaust survivors. So, that is not any longer extremely going into Israel like that. Israel has a lot going for it. It does no longer be counted upon different countries to maintain that is economic equipment afloat, and the military funds does no longer be counted upon international help.

OF course it would. It survived without this current wave of illegals and it would put more Americans to work and our wages would not be as depressed as they are now. The economy of the 60's and 80's was just fine and did quite well without them.

There would be serious issues.

Farms, which often struggle finanically, do benefit from cheap illegal labor. It is this low labor cost that lets us buy produce so cheaply.

The root of this problem is really the minimum wage. The appeal of the illegal immigrant worker is that you don't have to pay him as much, pay for benefits, or pay taxes for him.

Easily. And so much of our tax money could be spend on other things than supporting mexicos surplus population with welfare and other social programs.
Its mexicos job to take care of their people, not the US's job (no one seems to understand that for some reason).
