There is nothing in this world that can make you happy unless it is YOU. You are in control of how you feel. If your relationship is strong in love, honesty, commitment to each other, you should be happy. if not, figure out what your lacking within yourself and try to fix it. Remember you are in control of your happiness.

Story telling! We used to talk a lot, anything that we can talk about. Past, present and future topics. Sometimes stupid stories and short stories. We have a good communication that is why we have a happy relationship.

Lots of laughter, being comfortable enough around each other that long periods of silence aren't uncomfortable. lol Doing things together, but realizing that you don't have to do EVERYTHING together. Being able to talk to someone without the fear of being judged unjustly for past mistakes or for my opinions on things. And having that special chemistry that just makes you melt when he holds your hand or kisses you.

Understanding, compassion, a good listener, honesty, great sense of humor, common interests, good conversation..stuff like that. Those are the things that make for a lasting connection with someone, and cements your love for them.
