If you have not read at least 4 stories do not comment and speak with an uninformed opinion. If you have not met any of them don't say you know them. Unless u assume i know everything about you

I read them and I truly believe that this is propaganda and garbage. Have you met any of them?

I read them a long time ago, there were quite a number if I remember correctly.

I've also read accounts by "stonewall" people.

I don't like the attitude of the first poster. No group should have their stories marginalized just because of politics -- whether they are practicing homosexuals or "ex"-homosexuals. We need to deal with people as individuals. Her dismissive attitude towards the site you've brought up isn't any better than a fundamentalist dismissing the life stories of homosexuals.

Still, she's right in that we are back to Square #1. Neither of you have first-hand knowledge of the stories, you simply have their account of where they've been in life and where they're at now.

I am generally skeptically (from experience) of stories that describe instantaneous healing or complete removal of homosexual preferences. God can do anything He likes, but in general, the "real" ex-homosexual stories tend to be more along the lines of, "I still experience painful homosexual desires; but God has given me a hope in pursuing the life I currently have, and I am finding growing contentment where I did not think I ever would."

Stories are wonderful in that they feel very real and connect with people. Their one main flaw is that people can simply ignore them if they choose, saying, "Well, that's just your experience/opinion."

God made LGBT people the way they are, and God doesn't make junk. Who are you to disparage or defame any of God's gifts?

People who say they have "converted" from being LGBT are just not acting on their natural sexual orientation. Nothing has changed. No one "chooses" whether or not they are gay.

You, however, had to learn and choose to become a hate-spewing bigot. Why not try peace, love, and tolerance for a change? WWJD?

Please do not repeat your "questions." This is against the Terms of Conduct.

I've never "struggled with homosexuality," only with the hatred that 'christians' like you preach.

Give me a break. Ever heard of the "DL"? It''s almost entirely made up of church leaders, members and married folk.

Isn't it also interesting that child molestors primarily hide behind the curtain of Christianity? We never hear of open homosexuals molesting children. In fact, I'm going to pose that as a question right now.

Thank you for posting this -- the homosexual movement keeps telling us that they're "born that way" when in fact people can be healed of their homosexuality and can lead normal, healthy lives married to people of the opposite sex and with families.

I have known a couple of people who've told me that they struggled with homosexuality and were able to overcome it with God's help. And I'm sure I've known many more people who've struggled with it, but never admitted it to me. I would guess that my pastor would have tons of stories as my church counsels those who struggle with homosexuality that there is hope for them and that they can change.

not really sure i get the point of the question.

It says in the bible that homosexuality is wrong and yet these people are christians. So what?

It says in the bible that killing is wrong, yet there are plenty of soldiers who are christians.

No. They, and you, were lied to. The bible was written by men. the words sin and hell are man made, not God made.
