I lost my cousin yesterday who is 37. He was just 3 months older than I am. Can't help but think about how some people live to old age, while others die so young. Your thoughts?

Thats just the way things are designed. I believe that everyone has a purpose in life, and that there is a lesson in everything. When people die, I think that they have completed what they were meant to do and that their death may be the actual lesson. I am sorry to hear about your cousin, just don't think of how young he was, think and remember all the things that you may have learned from him.

Some die at 15, like my sister.

I still don't know why some die younger.
How come she died, and well... I Didn't?
I don't mean to say I feel bad or anything.
I believe it was her time.

That's all I know. Some people have a shorter time in this world. I don't know why God chooses to give some people longer lives than others, though.

I believe seeing other people's deaths is a reminder for us, that we will also be going and leaving this world. It is also a test for the friends and family of the deceased.
It's God's way of testing us with hardships, and also blessings.
We're tested in many ways.

Let's hope we pass with flying colours!

I'm sorry about your cousin. For many people, their genes have some factor in the age they will reach. My grandfather died at 52, and his brother was 48. For others, they may be more susceptible to illnesses, from exposure to either different materials or stresses. Some may be able to get better care which helps them survive. My husband had a 100% blockage of one part of his heart last year, but because we were close to one of the best heart hospitals in the country, he was able to get excellent care quickly, and suffered no lasting damage. And for some, there is no answer.

People say its unpredictable, and they are not completly wrong however it has to do with the way you live. For example, somebody who drinks or smokes, or does not eat healthy will not live as long as somebody who always eats healthy and keeps their body in a healthy state. So if you want to live to 116 then just make sure you take care of your body. Do not smoke and do not drink, but a glass of wine now and then is ok.

Becose Allah give some people longer life to test him more, but the punishment is greater too if he doesnt follow God.but someone lives shorter but makes his life beter and with a goal.

Yeah, that's just how life is...unpredictable. There's no point in worrying about it cuz there's nothing to be done. Just be grateful that you have today and accomplish something great. My son and I, for example, made a lego cage for my son's imaginery bird yesterday. And I am very thankful that I was able to do that with him. I did something great!

What more can one ask for??

It's just life I guess. There really isn't an answer to that. Some people just happen to get sick, or they just die because it's there time, and people each have their own time.
