There is no fast way. Just improve your diet and exercise regularly.
There are alot of diets that people go on, but they aren't long term. They will help you lose weight fast, but at the same time predispose you to gaining more weight later on. Really bad Idea.
Best thing to do is find some time everyday to get some exercise in. Even a half hour will be good. Consistency is more important than intensity.
Eliminate sweets from your diet. Or save it as a treat for yourself for all the hard work you have been doing. Ex. exercise and eat right 6 days a week, and on day 7, treat yourself to whatever you have been craving.
To truly lose weight and keep it off, you have to be willing to make some sacrifices and changes to your lifestyle. My girlfriend recently lost 20 pounds by eating more vegetables, less sweets and other junk foods, and exercising regularly.
The golden rule to losing weight is : Burn more calories than you take in.
Golden rule number too: Consistent exercise will boost your metabolism. Higher your metabolism, the more calories you will burn by doing nothing (it's like magic!). There are plenty of websites with information like this. They can give you some tips and example programs to help get you started.
Avoid diet pills at all cost!! They are counter productive and dangerous.

I know exactly what you're saying. Preparing healthy meals and snacks while on a diet is REALLY time consuming. I weigh 120, but last winter went up to almost 140 (I'm 5'6"). I have never been really overweight, just not always happy with my weight, and have found it extremely difficult to drop even 5 pounds. What worked for me was Atkins, but the first 2 weeks were pretty rough (no fruits and very few vegies). I didn't keep within the VERY STRICT 20 carbs per day, but came pretty close. I munched on a lot of celery and cheese while at work and made regular dinners for my family, but just ate meat, vegetables and salad while they ate the rest. Also, for meals on the go, they offer things like breakfast bars, which are acceptable.
I don't know if this will help you, but it worked for me.
Good luck!

There isn't a fast healthy way to lose weight, but you could probably loose 20 pounds in a few months. The best way to loose weight is of course, through diet and exercise. Its 75% the way you eat that helps you to loose and keep weight off. I did the atkins a few years ago to get rid of a few pounds and that works for a short period of time, I have kept it off, but you shouldn't stay on atkins for a long period of time. I lost 10 pounds pretty quickly though.

Being overweight can seriously affect your health. Being overweight is associated with diabetes, osteoarthritis, hypertension, strokes, heart attacks, angina, sleep apnoea, sub fertility, cholesterol problems, gall stones, increased risk of cancer and premature death.
You must create mental and emotional motivation. Mental motivation is simple. Just read the list of risks above, and you will mentally think, "Wow, I really should lose weight, so I won't develop diabetes, heart disease, or depression." Emotional motivation is a bit more complex. If you are emotionally motivated you don't just think about the risks and benefits; you feel them. You feel that not losing weight would be painful, and you'll do whatever you have to do to avoid the pain
Everyone uses a different method to boost motivation. Some people write in journals while other people simply have to look in the mirror. For others it may be trying on those tight jeans everyday to see if they feel any looser. You might even feel motivated just by being around people who have similar weight loss goals. Experiment with a variety of methods to find out which one is perfect for you.

Ok here goes but mind you its a healthy diet. Its not fast. It works on each person differnt. It will work and you be the most healthy person ever.
The basic goal is to remove the toxins from our body, thats most of the wieght we have anyway.
Here's what you do.
Eat only fresh fruit in the mornings as for breakfast, the fruits is what helps clean our bodies, you can drink juice if you want but only fresh home made juice ( Not from a can or bottle) Around lunch time you'll want to eat above ground veggies like corn, peas and green beans. Those kind of veggies. These are what gives us energy during the day. Please nothing from a can. They won't do u any good at all.
Supper time you'll want to eat those veggies grown below ground like carrots and potatos. Here's the catch The only thing you can cook is the potatos and I would suggest slowly baking those, Everything needs to be eaten raw. The heat in cooking kills the things we need to make us healthy. Nothing processed at all is allowed you'll be defeting the purpose. only clean water to drink ( no tap water , thats some nasty stuff ) no coffee no tea no beer or whiskey no soft drink of any kind.. Abosolutley nothing that is processed and at your best don't cook any of it. at least if you have to cook it cook at extreamly low heat and not for any lenght of time. Oh you can have peanuts almonds ectt... raw no salt sorry no salt or butter to any foods either.
Your trying to remove the toxins and you will lose wieght. when the body rids itself of all the toxins you should gain a little back to where you are suppose to be.
I hope this helps and keep me posted.

believe it or not i myself was in the same situation and all it took was cutting out the fat , and i lost 20 lbs. don't starve your self and don't skip a meal because your body will actually store fat if you try to skip meals to loose weight. further more watch out for high fat like mayo, cooking oil or butter and especially any pop even diet ,drink plenty of water through out the day and always take the stairs or walk were ever you may go . good luck.
