In most areas that poison ivy grows the cure grows relatively close by. You will find it in wet areas. It is called Jewel weed. It has a small orange trumpet type flowers and grows in large groups. The stem is tubular and when broken open has a very wet inside. Break open the stem and spread the liquid liberally over the effected area.

It might sound crazy, but my mom always gave my brother and sister oatmeal baths. She would mix rolled oats with water in the bath tub so it was like a paste and spread it on them. She let it stay on about 10-15min. and then rinse them off.It seemed to have worked. Also try taking a dose of liquid Benadryl for the itching(the pills should work the same)Hope this helps!!And don't scratch!

If it's really bad, Ecolon is a prescription steroid creme. Those aren't good for you, but they will take of the problem.
